This residential extension project involved the expansion and reconfiguration of an existing dwelling within an established inner-city setting. OTL Consulting Group prepared the full town planning application and detailed development drawings, ensuring the proposal responded appropriately to neighbourhood character while delivering a functional and contemporary design outcome.

Planning Approval

The site was subject to planning controls typical of established urban areas, requiring careful consideration of setbacks, built form, overlooking and amenity impacts. Our team prepared a comprehensive town planning report addressing the Ballarat Planning Scheme and ResCode requirements, resulting in the successful grant of a planning permit.

Documentation & Building Permit

Following planning approval, we completed the full construction documentation package and managed the building permit approval process. By providing an end-to-end service — from planning through to building approval — the project was delivered efficiently with consistency between approved plans and construction documentation.
